I’m playing in four fantasy leagues this year. I don’t mean to brag, but after six weeks, I’ve scored more points than everyone else by far in every league and I’m ranked #1 or #2 in each.
OK, I guess I did mean to brag. 
I’m sure this post just totally blew up my karma. Ah well.

Digsby is a new instant messenger program that strives to combine IM, email, and social network updates. It’s in private beta right now, although I managed to get an invite. I just added a widget over there in the sidebar that lets visitors to this site chat with me in real-time if I happen to be logged in. Let’s see how this goes.
Why? Because if 50 Cent is true to his word, the fact that Kanye’s latest album outsold his means Mr. Cent will never release another album again. What could be better than that?
I don’t much care for rap, but I can at least tolerate Kanye West. At least he seems to try to keep his songs fun.
Instead of “I haven’t”, using “I’ve not”. For example: “I’ve not seen Spiderman 3 yet.”
I guess it’s still a technically correct thing to say, so I don’t know why this bugs me so much. Maybe it’s because it makes me feel like the writer/speaker is trying to sound pretentious.
This very nicely sums up my feelings about nerds who whine and cry about every little “inaccuracy” in movies like the rest of the world is supposed to care. Just shut up and enjoy the movie!
The new and improved site has been around since last September, but I rarely get any comments on my posts. So I’m curious… is anyone other than NihilXAOS reading this stuff? Let me know in the comments - or better yet, register and become a regular commenter.
One of the best “WTF” moments in recent memory.
Martinez told police he first came upon Lakers forward Ronny Turiaf, who he said agreed to pose for a photograph with him and the chocolate cake.
But outside of Blue 32, the 6-foot-11, 270-pound Brown came along, grabbed the cake and threw it at Martinez, according to the report. Brown got into a white limousine and left, Martinez claimed in the report, although he didn’t suggest any reason for the cake toss.
As of a few weeks ago, I wasn’t even sure I was getting one…. but now, I must admit I’m getting Wii-eally excited about getting a Nintendo Wii. I can’t wait to be one of the millions waiting in line when it’s Wii-leased on the 19th. There will be plenty of games, new and old, to choose from; if I don’t feel like swinging the Wii-mote around, I can settle down with a Wii-make of a more traditional game.
I’m sorry, I got carried away there. That was totally uncalled for. I feel like such a Wii-tard now.
Sigh.
If you’ve made your way here, then obviously: A) you’ve been told about the new site, B) you noticed that the old site expired and are really good with the Google, C) you’re a spambot.
The old site was 100% written by me. Although it was a fun and enjoyable learning experience, I haven’t had the time for months to continue working on it. Its lack of functionality in certain areas influenced me to refrain from posting, ie. “I don’t want to go hog-wild writing stuff because I’ll just have to fix things up later”. There comes a time when one must realize that others have more ability and more time to produce a more feature-filled, expandable, configurable, functional system; thus, I’m now using Wordpress.
So - new site, new domain name, fresh start. Maybe I’ll bring back some of the old content if I feel up to it. Maybe I won’t. Wasn’t much there worth keeping, anyway.
