And since this has evolved into one of my favorite shows, I'm really glad I was. I think the show got much better about relating to the non-geek. Case in point: my wife has come to enjoy it quite a bit. When we sit down to go through all the stuff built up on the DVR, it's consistently one of the first shows we catch up on. Furthermore, the character of Sheldon is so outlandish that you can't help but laugh at him, geek or not. He steals the show. Thanks for the post! Nice to know someone out there is reading this. I haven't decided exactly how funny I find it, but so far I'm willing to give it a chance. So far my favorite character is the guy who refuses to talk to women. Not that I've known anyone like that...nope...never. I also like Johnny Galecki and am glad to see him leading. He was fucking fantastic in Suicide Kings.
